Owner, Artist, Designer, and Craftsman, Peter Ross

        For his first six years in woodworking Peter Ross built, restored, and repaired acoustic musical instruments; guitars, banjos, and mandolins. By the late 70's designing and building custom furniture had crept into this career and gradually became the more significant, and economically viable direction.
        Guildmaster Furniture was established in Vernon, BC. and incorporated in 1984. From 1984 to 1995, Guildmaster Furniture specialized in high-end custom furniture, cabinetry, and architectural millwork, employing 8-10 artisan woodworkers.
        In 1995-96 Peter Ross relocated the operation to a new building on his acreage in Lumby BC. With a reduced staff, Guildmaster continued with the same product line until 1999, at which time Guildmaster accepted a contract to design and build the interior of an 86' custom yacht. This subsequently led to the interior retro fit of a 110'yacht.
        Upon the completion of these two large projects in 2002 - 2003 Peter Ross again reduced staffing level, and independently took on a contract to redesign and build the interior of a 42' sailboat.
        In 2004 tired of spending so much time in Vancouver, Peter returned to designing and building domestic home furnishings, cabinetry, and elite home interiors for clients in the Okanogan Valley region of British Columbia.
        In 2009 Guildmaster / Peter Ross continues building custom home furnishings, cabinetry and elite interiors but will also be offering a series recently designed custom tables and other furniture pieces for online sales.
